Currently the highest tax rate is 45% on income over €177,106

Under this proposal his tax would increase from €33m a year (leaving him a mere €39m to live on) to €64m a year (leaving him €8m to live on)

Or he could move to Real Madrid… which he has done… The smarter move would be to move back to Monaco, where he played previously in the same French first division, and where there is no income tax.
